Handel’s Dixit Dominus & Coronation Anthem, Bach’s Lobet den Herrn and Vivaldi’s Gloria

Celebrate Spring in style with a feast of Baroque music from three of the period’s greatest composers, Handel, Bach and Vivaldi.

Rich contrasts of texture and mood are apparent in the works of Bach, Vivaldi and Handel’s performed here, with beautiful passages for orchestra, impressive choruses and soaring solo movements. The music ranges between exuberant and reflective, joyful and sombre, playful and majestic, tender and magnificent.

This concert’s music showcases the style of the Baroque period beautifully and will be both magnificent and uplifting.
