These friendly, informal sessions are so much fun! If you’re a keen singer (you don’t have to be a member of GCS) come along, warm up those vocal cords and join in. This season we have two Sing Saturday events:

  • Saturday 23 September 2017
    The Chapter House, Gloucester Cathedral
    Haydn: Creation
  • Saturday 27 January 2018
    The Chapter House, Gloucester Cathedral
    Brahms: Requiem

Find full details about the music for each session at the bottom of this page as the date of each session approaches.

Being part of GCS has given me some of the most lasting and worthwhile friendships I have known.

Questions often asked are

  • Do I need to be able to sight-read music?
Well, some sight-reading skills are needed or you could just spend some time learning the choruses before you come.
  • Do I need to audition?
    Absolutely not.
  • Is there a dress code?
Again no, all very informal. Jimjams if you fancy, just come along and enjoy.
