Discounts*
GCS Benefactors – A new Benefactor’s Scheme has just been agreed by the board! There will be a range of benefits available to our sponsors. Full details will be posted on the website soon. Meanwhile, please contact marketing@gloucesterchoral.com for further information.
Small groups (4-9 people) – a 5% discount will be applied on the whole order. This offer is only available when booked in advance online or by telephone.
Season tickets – if you buy at least one ticket for each of the main concerts in our season in one transaction, you will be given a 10% discount on the cost of your order.
Under-25s and students – Just £5 for any ticket in any seating category. Applies to bookings made online, by phone, or on the door (because, sometimes, the best plans are made at the last minute).
School-aged children – we have now simplified our offer for younger members of the audience. Children are now included in the Under-25s and students offer. This means families can benefit from substantial savings on the best seats in the house.
*GCS reserves the right to change / remove / add to the existing discount structure without notice. Existing bookings are not affected.
How to book
Select the type of event you are interested in booking to see information on how to book tickets.
All of our regular concerts are available to book online through our ticketing partner, the Three Choirs Festival.
Links to book your concert tickets can be found on the website page for each concert. These links will take you directly to the seat selection page for that concert, on the Three Choirs Festival website.
You can also book concert tickets by telephone (this is also required for group bookings of more than 10 people). The telephone number for the Three Choirs Festival Box Office is 01452 768928. The box office is open from 10am until 4pm Monday to Friday.
You can choose to have your tickets sent to you in the post, held by the box office for collection on the door, or emailed to you. We recommend having your tickets emailed to you as an ‘e-ticket’. To save your ink and the world’s paper, you do not need to print your e-ticket, but you will need to show it on your smartphone or other device on entry to the concert.
The Three Choirs Festival levies a booking fee of £2.50 per order; however, this does not apply to GCS members, Patrons or Friends.
If you frequently buy tickets for our concerts, it can be more economical to become a GCS Friend, because you avoid booking fees while enjoying a 5% discount on all the tickets you buy. For more information on how to become a Patron or Friend, click here.
Day Workshops require more detailed planning closer to the event, so booking details aren’t always available at the start of the season. Booking details will be provided in the event page on the website. For Spem in Alium (April 2023), there will be an online booking option or you can email Peter on contracts@gloucesterchoral.com
Sing Saturdays are fun and informal events that usually run on two or three Saturday mornings throughout the season.
Sing Saturdays can be booked online in advance – links to make your booking will be available on the event webpage of our website.
This is great because it means we know you’re planning to attend, so can update you with any relevant information about the event. It also helps us to plan for the number of visitors.
You can also simply turn up and pay on the day if you prefer. They are informal, after all.
Refund / exchange policy
We do not refund tickets (unless a concert is cancelled) so please check your diaries carefully when booking. If a concert is sold out we will offer to resell your tickets: however, we can offer no guarantee of sale.
