16th September 2023

9.45am – 12.15pm

Gloucester Cathedral

Join us for a fun morning singing Brahms’ Requiem in Gloucester Cathedral. In our first Sing Saturday of the new season, you’ll learn from musical director, Adrian Partington, while getting a taster for singing with Gloucester Choral Society.

You’ll spend the first part of the morning delving into Brahms’ masterful Requiem, getting to grips with the music and understanding the composition. We’ll then pause for a short break, in which you can meet like-minded singers, or perhaps catch up with old choral friends. Finally you’ll perform the piece from beginning to end, putting together all your good work from the first part of the morning.

Sing Saturdays are relaxed events, with no dress code and no audition in sight, although an ability to read music is certainly helpful.

And if you really enjoy yourself, why not join us?
