The Chapter House, Gloucester Cathedral
Often sat on the music shelf alongside another famous French composer, Duruflé’s Requiem is a choral work you just can’t help but fall in love with. This is a fantastic opportunity to join us in Gloucester Cathedral to sing it yourself.
It won’t take long to find out what all the fuss is about. Full of gorgeous harmonies and flowing melodies that take the singer from moments of peaceful reflection to ethereal splendour within a few bars.
Singing Duruflé’s Requiem, you’ll learn from our distinguished musical director, Adrian Partington, while getting a taster for singing with Gloucester Choral Society.
And if you really enjoy yourself, why not join us?
