One of the greatest works in the pantheon of choral music and one of Beethoven’s final masterpieces.
What a way to open our concert season!
Missa Solemnis is a towering achievement, composed by Ludwig van Beethoven near the end of his life. It is complex, compelling and completely spell-binding.
UPDATE: Please note that Jonathan Best who was originally due to sing the bass solo has now been replaced by Matthew Hargreaves.
