Good God – behold completed this poor little Mass.

These were Rossini’s words on finishing this composition from a set of works he called his “Péchés de vieillesse”, Sins of old age.

For our final concert this season, we break with tradition and perform in the beautiful surroundings of Cirencester Parish Church and present Rossini’s little masterpiece, Petite Messe Solennelle and we are proud to play our part in the Abbey 900 Cirencester festival to mark the 900th anniversary of the founding of the abbey.
