“Unmissable London event”

We’re getting excited as our new season begins in earnest when we start rehearsals on 1st September. Time to brush up on the Berlioz Grande Messe des morts in readiness for our concert with the Philharmonia Orchestra under Esa-Pekka Salonen (no less) on 25th September in the Royal Festival Hall.

Our concert opens their London season. We are so honoured to have been invited to take part. The concert has already been labelled “one of 20 events not to be missed in September 2014) by the BBC Classical Music magazine!

The orchestra and conductor have dedicated the concert to the memory of Lorin Maazel (1930-2014) who was an associate principal conductor from 1971.
