CONCERT PEFORMANCE OF THE SETTINGS IN THE CATHEDRAL

The concert will be recorded with copies being available for purchase

ALL SING SATURDAY TIMINGS ARE:

  • 11.20  Session 2 (sectionals)
  • 1.00    Lunch
  • 1.45  Session 3 in the cathedral nave
  • 3.00  Break
  • 3.15  Concert in the cathedral nave
  • 4.00  Finish  4.30
  • Evensong  (Visiting choir)
  • Gloucester Cathedral & other rehearsal spaces in the cathedral buildings

Tickets: £22.50 (or £27.50 to include lunch) cheques payable to Gloucester Choral Society or by BACS

PLUS two settings that have been specifically commissioned by GCS for the day. One is by John Merrick (Vice-Chairman of GCS) and the other by Freya Ireland (a student at Pates Grammar School in Cheltenham).

You will be the first singers ever to perform these in concert!

For more details on the composers and to see the music we will perform, look at the draft of the booklet you will be given on the day to act as a memento and a reference on the day.
